The International HIT SHOW, TOAST – The BEST of BREAD comes to Des Moines for the FIRST TIME!
Hailed as “MORE than a tribute”, TOAST is a celebration of the timeless music of BREAD and a homage to the 5 incredible musicians who formed the group. This is the STORY of BREAD.
“BREAD virtually invented soft rock in the early Seventies, and the group’s biggest hits—’Make It With You,’ ‘If,’ ‘Baby I’m-a Want You,’ and ‘Everything I Own’—remain staples on lite-rock radio.” — Rolling Stone
With 13 Billboard Top 100 hits, Bread created one of the most beloved song catalogs of all time. While surviving members David Gates and Robb Royer enjoy retirement, TOAST proudly keeps their legendary music alive for audiences throughout the world.
Known for an extraordinary level of musical accuracy, TOAST faithfully recreates the signature harmonies, rich arrangements, and unmistakable sound that made Bread one of the defining bands of the 1970s. Fans and critics alike consistently describe the performances as “spot on” to the original recordings.
Whether you’re hearing these timeless songs again or introducing them to a new generation, TOAST delivers an unforgettable evening filled with nostalgia, emotion, and world-class musicianship. From heartfelt ballads to uplifting classics, every performance celebrates the music that continues to touch millions of listeners around the world!
